The Project Manager holds the accountability to ensure assigned projects are deployed and completed on-time and on-budget by engaging and utilizing the appropriate assigned resources, ensuring success for both our customers and the business. This highly visible role is the primary relationship with our customers during implementation, upgrade and special projects. Primary Responsibilities: Manage specific projects under the direction of the Director of Project Management or the Customer Success Manager as assigned; For implementation projects, serve as the project manager from project start through go-live, until site acceptance achieved. In some cases, continue to act as main Point of Contact for customer beyond go-live; Identify internal and external resources needed (people, technology, facilities) and assign individual responsibilities for project delivery; Partner with the customer executive team to establish trusted advisory relationships, foster leadership consensus and resolve barriers; Create and manage project WBS plans; Manage the project schedule, including resource scheduling, project leveling and schedule crashing, and revise as appropriate to meet changing needs and requirements; Provide direction to internal teams to help with task completion; Ensure all project tasks and assignments are completed; Ensure all communications are completed – including weekly status updates, executive updates, etc.; Track and manage project hours – ensure within approved budget guidelines; Manage all project funds according to established accounting policies and procedures; Provide management and stakeholders with periodic reports on resource levels, customer status, etc.; Assist with the development and refinement of implementation methodologies in terms of building tools and templates by utilizing Lessons Learned; Be fully accountable for project results; Minimize company exposure and risks; Ensure project documents are complete, current, and stored appropriately; Knowledge and Skill Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Project Management, or related discipline; Project Management Professional certification (PMP), Six Sigma, or Lean preferred; Must possess knowledge and experience in directing and managing large scale IT projects for external customers; Proven track record in building, leading and mentoring successful project teams; Experience managing Professional Services implementations preferred; Detail oriented; Excellent critical thinking skills; Excellent written and verbal skills with the ability to actively listen, build integrity and adapt communication styles to audience; Ability to work in a fast paced, results-driven environment; Ability to work collaboratively with others, excellent team skills; Hospital (acute care) project implementation experience and understanding of complex health systems preferred; Proven history of self-motivation, accountability, curiosity, and ability to work independently; Computer skills are a must. Must be proficient in word, PowerPoint and excel software. Physical Requirements: Must be able to remain in a stationary position for an extended period of time. Must be able to frequently move about and position self appropriately to complete role responsibilities. Other Requirements: Must be able to communicate with others exchanging accurate information. Position requires adaptability, dependability, analysis, and stress control. Must adhere to all safety rules and regulations. US Security Clearance may be required.
