Sales Development Representative, Small Business at When I Work

As a Sales Development Representative, Small Business (SDR, SB), you will work directly with our Small Business customers to enhance their overall user experience and expedite their understanding of When I Work’s apps. What You’ll Be Doing

As an SDR, SB, you are responsible for managing the first prospect conversation via email, chat, phone call, and/or webinar. You will engage new account sign-ups via inbound connections and provide helpful advice for their business needs by building rapport, providing guidance, and qualifying leads before scheduling meetings for Account Executives.

  • Provide guidance and best practices on the set-up and implementation of When I Work’s applications
  • Build rapport with When I Work prospects who may have never heard of WIW before
  • Effectively communicate When I Work’s products and how it benefits prospect’s company
  • Act as a liaison between the Account Executives and the potential customer
  • Respond to prospect’s product questions and/or scheduling conflicts
  • Become proficient in When I Work’s discovery and sales execution process to ensure prospects are properly vetted and connected with the right resources
  • Maintain above 80% success of company’s expected quota for SDR role
  • Work with the Marketing, Customer Care/Success, Development and the Executive teams to identify/resolve all issues that could impact Monthly Recurring Revenue and Customer satisfaction
  • Continuously identify improvements, communicate recommendations and best practices for company and sales processes

Experience and Skills Needed

  • Entry level experience in sales, lead generation, or outbound calling
  • Technology savvy and ability to quickly learn new things
  • Passion for customer service, sales, and business consulting in a customer centric environment
  • Strong computer skills, system aptitude, and the ability to develop processes and procedures
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills
  • Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills; ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks, with attention to detail, and a proactive approach
  • Team player with the ability to effectively interact with colleagues and business partners across the company
  • Associate degree required, Bachelor degree preferred or any equivalent combination of experience and training which provides the required knowledge and abilities to successfully perform job requirements
