Come be a part of our rapidly growing team!  We have an immediate need for a Client-Focused Rock Star to fill the role of Client Success Team - COBRA Support Specialist.  The ideal person will be Smart, Fun, Enthusiastic, Coachable and absolutely obsessive about the success of their clients.

Position Summary/Objective

The COBRA Specialist supports and services beneficiaries,  brokers as well as the COBRA participants for whom EverythingBenefits contracted to provide COBRA Administration in accordance with COBRA regulations

Essential Functions/Duties/Responsibilities

  •  Provides professional and timely service to internal and external customers, focusing on the overall client experience
  • Maintain a strong working knowledge of COBRA and stay current with law and regulation changes
  • Resolves COBRA administration service issues with internal staff and outside Vendors
  • Communicate directly with clients, beneficiaries and brokers by phone and through email regarding COBRA; including enrollments, notices, coverages, terminations, reporting and premium payments
  • Effective communication skills via telephone, and email
  • Maintains accurate client information including; COBRA premium rates, open enrollment documents and special instructions
  • Develop and maintain excellent relations with new and existing clients
  • Participates in new business implementation process
  • Meets or exceeds all performance standards
  • Participates in Open Enrollment planning and implementation
  • Ability to work effectively with various individuals and multi-task as necessary
  •  Assumes other duties as assigned by Manager

Qualifications And Experience

  • Bachelors Degree or equivalent experience required
  • 1-3 years of experience using in the HCM field or using a SaaS web-based application       
  • 1-3 years in an Account Management-type role preferred      
  • Track record as an enthusiastic team player with proven ability to
  • prioritize, multi-task
  • A passion to make customers and coworkers feel important and valued
  • Proficient PC Skills (Microsoft Office, Outlook, HRIS, etc…)

Preferred Skills

  • Bilingual, Spanish preferred
  • Knowledge of COBRA; knowledge of federal regulations
  • Experience with EDI and 834 files
  • Customer Service experience
